Nails of the Day:A Subtle Sunset + vacay pictures

Although Summer is almost to and end, I'm trying to enjoy what's left of it starting with my nails.  It practically screams out summer with the colors I used.  Another reason why I choose to do my nails that way is because I was going on a mini vacation to Rocky Point, Sonora, Mx. I joined my sister so her kids can go visit they're grandmother.  We had such a great time at the beach and we definitely didn't want to leave so soon (we stayed there for 4 days and 3 nights.) cause it wasn't enough.  Hopefully we can visit soon again.  Anyways, I wanted to share some pictures with you lovelies and here they are :)
Love, Cynthia xoxo

Fall Wants

Fall Wants

Fall Wants by crod602 featuring essie nail polish

Hey guys! I was completely bored the other night and I was already thinking about the Fall season.  Unfortunately, since I live in Arizona, we really don't have a Fall season but you don't start feeling it till late September early October.  Pretty much, those are the things I've been stalking.  Let me explain...lol.

Clothing
So, starting with the clothing items, denim shirts have been out there since last Fall I believe and I've been wanting to buy one but never get to it so I told myself that I'll definitely buy it this time.  The other day, at H&M I saw one and it had cute little white hearts all over...maybe that's the one.  Oh, and the leopard top is from H&M as well.

Shoes
The black boots are from DV and I first spotted them at the Anniversary sale at Nordstrom.  I was so close to buying cause they were at such a good price but I figured I should just wait till I have more money saved up :( Also, the Steve Madden Troopas where there.  They both are so beautiful....womp (A girl can dream)  Since the school year is almost starting, I love wearing flats cause they're so comfy and I know I could bear wearing them for long periods of time.

Accessories and Miscellaneous
Starting off with nail polish,  Essie's fall collection is almost out and the forest green one is definitely one I want in my collection.  I'm still debating whether or not I should buy the metallic gold or not.  To buy or not to buy, that is the question.  I also been on the hunt for a chunky black necklace as well.  I also really want that Michael Kors wristlet which is very inexpensive.  You know how sometimes you don't want to carry a purse and instead something small...exactly why I want it.  Last but not least, I've been dying for an IPhone and maybe this Winter I'll be able to buy it in white! but I don't want the new one...I prefer the IPhone 4S; I'll definitely be extremely content.  :)

Alright guys, this is pretty much it.  Thanks for reading!

A Metallic-Indigo Night

Hey Beauties! Hope Summer is treating everyone well cause it's been great for me.  It's almost time to go back to school which I'm pretty happy to go back cause I'm getting kinda bored of just going to work and that's it; it's pretty lame.  Here's another one of my simple nail designs.  I don't know why, but it kinda reminds me of Sailor Moon for some odd reason...is that weird? lol.  Oh yeah, and the colors I used are Revlon's Colorstay in Indigo Night and Sephora by O.P.I in Queen of everything.  Hope you guys like it and try it out.

Also, before I end this blog post, here is a glimpse of my nail collection.  I was thinking of showing you guys all of them and tell my favorites.  It's still in the clouds so let me know what you think. Ok, thank you.  :)

DIY: Bracelet Holder + nails of the day

 What you'll need:

  • CD holder
  • Cardboard paper roll
  • Spray paint (whichever color you prefer)
  • Glue gun
So as you can see in first picture, that is how I used to store all of my arm candy.  Yeah, it was about to overflow so I decided to make something that can easily hold a fair amount of bracelets.  I opted to make something that you can easily find around the house and it was definitely easy to make.  So first of all, you spray paint the CD holder and the cardboard paper roll with which ever color you desire.  Make sure you're somewhere ventilated for health purposes.  Leave them to dry for a good couple of hours outside.  After they are fully dry, it you want, you can cut it to whatever length you want.  Then,  get your glue gun or super glue and glue the bottom to the CD holder.  Let that dry for a couple of hours as well.  Finally, you can put all of your bracelets and have an easy way to store them.  Hope you guys try this simple DYI :)
See ya' Later,

P.S
I just wanted to show you my recent nails.  It's Essie's Eternal Optimist and a simple black nail polish to create my funky looking flower.

Neon meets metallics

Lately I've been really inspired by all the metallic and neon trends going on at the moment.  I definitely had to try it on my nails and that was the outcome.  I must say, I kinda love the combo; the yellow and the metallic grey look so great to me.  It does look kinda sloppy on the edges but it was one of those midnight ideas I had lol.  The Sephora by OPI is called Queen of Everything and the Sally Hansen is called Mellow Yellow.  I'm pretty sure you can still find both the stores if you wish to use this combo. Hopefully you guys like.

Unif Hellraisers

You guys, you guys! I finally got my hellraisers in the mail, yesterday evening! Oh man, I was so excited when that FedEx guy came (I totally looked like crap).  Also, I have been researching these shoes and looking at review forever and a day now...I know form a couple of reviews that they are starting to sell another version of them that don't look like they're 100% leather.  I order my pair from soulstruck.com and they have the very original ones there for sure.  I ordered them in a size 8 and I normally use an 8.5 and they fit perfectly.  I can't wait to actually wear them out.

Peace out! lol

Nails of the day

Hey, beautiful people! So just showing you my random nails of the day.  I've been looking for a yellow nail polish forever and a day until I spotted this one at target.  Quite frankly, it's the perfect yellow for my type of skin color.  Many would say it's too bright but it's perfect.  I wanted to add that extra POP to my nails so I gathered a bunch of different colors and just stared dotting them on my nails and below was the end result. Really easy and it perfectly suits the sunny season of summer.
