Cray Cray Over Metallics?

It's that time of year where you see a lot of metallics around everywhere and lately I've found myself buying a lot of things from clothes to nail polishes (as seen below).

So, when they opened the H&M at AZ Mills, I went to check it out and found this cute blue pullover that I fell in love with.  It's slightly cropped from the front and has an exposed zipper in the back.  Sadly, I haven't had a chance to wear it just yet but i'm planning on it!  I'm thinking about incorporating this into my Christmas outfit but we'll see...

When I went to Target, I saw these nail polished from Nicole by O.P.I.  They're the "texture coat" ones but pretty much the same as the crackle by Sally Hanson.  They had a couple of different colors but these were my favorite ones.  I have yet to try them out with all my finals going on but since I'm finally done with that, I'll definitely test them out and hopefully do a post.

My Top Favorite Nail Polishes for Winter

So I've been wanting to show you guys my top favorite nail polishes that I use during the winter but I been putting it aside until now.  I was on youtube and Jenn from clothesencounters made a video on her favorites so I remembered and picked mine out.  Hope you enjoy and let's get started!

I love these colors cause they're so versatile and go with mostly everything.

Steve Madden: Madee "Dupes"

As soon as these lovely bad boys (Pictures one and three: Steve Madden: Madee) came out, I definitely wanted a pair.  The price was reasonable but at the time I couldn't bare to spend over a hundred dollars on them.  A while back ago, I came across a pair that looked similar at Charlotte Russe (Pictures two and four) so I didn't think twice about buying them.  They were only about $20 each so I bought the leopard and grey ones.  They obviously don't look exactly the same but are similar.  The quality is ok and as soon as you break them in, which only took a couple days, they're extremely comfortable.  If you don't want to spend $100 I would recommend them.

My Christmas Wishlist: 2011

My Christmas Wishlist: 2011

My Christmas Wishlist: 2011 by crod602 featuring studded shoes

Since we're in the month of December,as of today, I was inspired by TheStlylePlaylist's wishlist blog post and decided to make my own!  I absolutely love this time of the year and the feeling of it.  Everyone tends to be more happier than usual and seem to put all problems aside.  Anyways, here's my own wishlist that I created.  Some of these items are waaaaaaay out of my price range but hey, a girl can dream; right? LOL.

Let's start from top to bottom:
First row-H&M wedges,  Minnetonka moccasins, and the incredibly amazing Unif hellraiser spiked loafers.

Second row- Marc by Marc Jacobs watch, Urban Decay Naked Palette, Nars Blush, O.P.I nail polish in Diva of Geneva, Mac lipstick, and a leopard scarf.

Third row- Elton John: Greatest Hits, red coat, curling wand, makeup brushes, and a black shoulder bag.

I definitely know I'm not going to get all these items that I want but like I said before, a girl can dream!

Happy Holidays,
Cynthia xoxo

A Weekend Full of "Deals"

So as many of you know, this past weekend was Black Friday.  This is actually the second year I've gone out to shop at midnight.  I only purchased a couple of things from Kmart, Best Buy, JC Penny, New York and Company, and Macys.

So my mother convinced me to take her to Kmart (I can't remember the last time I was there) because they were going to have a two-day sale.  I came across these festive holiday socks that were so ugly but I totally loved!  They were only $3 each!

I obviously bought this at Best Buy but it didn't cost $9.99, it was $3.99! This movie is one of my favorite movies so I had to buy it!

I bought this cute knit sweater at JC Penny for $10! You can't tell in the picture but it also has this silver knitted too.

I bought this beautiful scarf at New York & Company for $10 everything at that store was 50% off so my mom dragged me in there and thanks to her, I found this!
Well, take a look at these babies!  This is the only reason why I wanted to go Black Friday shopping.  I was looking for a good pair of boots for a reasonable price and Macys had them! They're Nine West brand and were originally priced at $149; can you guess on how much I got them for? $75 bucks!  It was like love at first sight. LOL
Finally, a Toshiba laptop.  Although I really wanted a macbook, this good for right now.  I've been in college for almost an entire semester and no laptop? Oh how did I survive? LOL  This was an early Christmas gift from my mom.  Thank mom!

I might do OOTD with the items I bought so stay tuned!

Finally, the end of a "it could of been better summer" 2011.

Summer 2011 was something else. It was filled with several miscellaneous emotions in which, for some weird reason, I can't describe.  I must admit, I did things out of my comfort zone...I guess the only thing I can say now is that I learned from my mistakes. Blehh. I'll just stick with this cliche saying, "everything happens for a reason" right? Cause I'm really hoping it really did based on the outcome.

Anyhow, since summer is almost over, I came to the conclusion that I'm really going to miss high school :/ I honestly thought I wasn't going to miss it one bit BUT I was wrong.  I'm already getting all mopey and what not when I see all the fb posts about going back to school. Oh well, life goes on but I'm pretty stoked about going to college even though it wasn't what I was planning. extra bleehhh!  I'm so devastated and proud at the same time to see one of my best friends leave to college in St. Antonio, TX.  AHH, I'm going to miss her terribly but who am I to stop her from becoming a successful woman!

I'm really hoping for a wayyy better summer next year but we'll see what happens.  For now, sayonara! :)
